In Michael’s role as Creative Director, he combines innovative thinking, business acumen and an in-depth knowledge of the beauty industry to collaboratively forecast short and long term trends and lead the artistic direction of BEAUTYSTREAMS’ content. He oversees a team of over 200 international experts to understand macro and consumer trends on a global scale and translate their findings into inspiration for product development, marketing and strategy for companies worldwide.
Michael also leads BEAUTYSTREAMS’ Bespoke Division which delivers tailored trend analyses to global companies such as L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Unilever and many more. With over 15 years experience in fashion and beauty, Michael is a true trend authority, regularly speaking at events and trade shows worldwide and providing commentary and thought leadership in international trade and consumer publications.

Jayanne is the EVP in charge of business development for BEAUTYSTREAMS. Based in Seoul, the hub of Cosmetics innovation and K-Beauty, Jayanne has been a consumer market researcher with ACNielsen and strategy consultant with BCG. Her hands-on experience of developing fashion and cosmetic brands and years of working in Retail provides BEAUTYSTREAMS clients keen insight into reading Global Trends and applying creative ideas to their individual needs. Powered by her global upbringing in multicultural experiences, Jayanne has successfully merged companies, created JVs and licensing deals, and restructured ailing companies.
As Global Marketing Director for BEAUTYSTREAMS, Fernanda leads the overall marketing strategy and works closely with regional teams to tailor and execute this worldwide. A true trend expert, Fernanda has over 15 years’ experience as a correspondent and editor for international web-based medias and was previously Trend Director for Latin America at Stylesight. Fernanda’s diverse experience allows her to lead strong collaborations with leading trade shows such as Cosmoprof and MakeUp In globally.

Born and raised in Italy and with a vast international background, Michele Superchi is the Global Performance Executive of Beautystreams. Passionate about market analysis and company expansion strategies, Michele previously worked as a consultant for several companies and universities worldwide. Today he is specializing in beauty to help companies over 6 continents to create new marketing strategies and product development ideas based on the most important trends.

As BEAUTYSTREAMS’ Editor in Chief, Paulina Szmydke-Cacciapalle has editorial oversight across all of BEAUTYSTREAMS’ branches including reporting, forecast, webinars, and bespoke. She is responsible for maintaining high quality of content and proposes strategies for new topics and formats. With a bachelor’s degree in applied linguistics and a master’s in journalism, Paulina began her career at Kurier, a daily newspaper. In 2009, she became a foreign correspondent in Paris contributing to a volley of highbrow titles including Die Zeit, The Wall Street Journal, FT/How To Spend It, Parnass Art Magazine, and eventually WWD, the global reference for retail, fashion, and beauty. Over the years, her attention turned to sustainability to which she is actively devoted, not least through the publication of her book, Making Jeans Green: Linking Sustainability, Business, and Fashion, which set the standards for clean denim production. Her core expertise, today, is clean writing (word pun intended).

As Managing Editor for BEAUTYSTREAMS, Liucija is a key person connecting the international BEAUTYSTREAMS team that is spread all around the world.
Born in Lithuania, living between Bombay and Paris, cities where her career in creative industries started working with such brands as Balmain, Manish Arora, Iris van Herpen and others.
Today Liucija specializing in beauty to help companies be in the loop of the beauty industry present and future.

Based in Southeast Asia, Anne-Catherine Auvray is the Executive Editor for BEAUTYSTREAMS. She has over 17 years’ experience in marketing and communications for the cosmetics industry, including 10 years at Clarins Paris, holding positions such as International Product & Marketing Manager. She was also International Key Account and New Projects Manager for the Cosmoprof shows. Anne Catherine is an expert in branding, marketing strategy, and product development. She currently leads Beautystreams’ Bespoke Division, consulting with clients in Asia on their specific project needs.
Beauty Mantra: “I value simplicity. I keep my skin clean, protected and moisturized. My make-up style is on the natural side. I have a few rituals that help me to relax: either a masking session, get nails done in a salon or a full body massage.”
Laura Ziv has over twenty years’ experience in marketing and trends. Prior to joining BEAUTYSTREAMS as Executive Editor, she spent twelve years as Creative Marketing Director at global fragrance and flavor company, Firmenich. Laura is well versed at translating trends into insights and brand opportunities, having worked closely with a wide variety of multinational clients including Unilever, L’Oréal, Procter & Gamble and L Brands. She started her career in journalism, has a Master of Arts from Oxford University and has lived and worked on three continents.

Céline Ellena grew up in Grasse, the global epicentre of fragrance, as a member of the ‘royal family’ of perfumery. Having been trained at the prestigious ISIPCA School in Versailles, France, she went on to follow in her father Jean-Claude Ellena’s footsteps to become a world renowned perfumer. Her contributions to the fragrance industry are extensive and impressive, with highlights including being the nose behind the Hermès home fragrances and collaborating with brands such as L’Artisan Parfumeur and The Different Company, founded by her own father Jean-Claude along with designer Thierry de Baschmakoff. Céline Ellena has been celebrated in many publications including Allure and Vanity Fair.
A true household name in the beauty industry, Margarita Arrigada brings to BEAUTYSTREAMS a wealth of experience spanning 30 years and a broad vision over branding, fashion merchandising and product development. Previously Chief Merchant at Sephora, Margarita and her team there revolutionised the beauty industry with innovative merchandising strategies and an ever changing mix of in-demand product selections for 700+ stores in North America.

Matt Teri is a veteran beauty and personal care executive who has created for some of the industry’s most well-known brands. Matt has held leadership roles in Corporate Innovation for the Estee Lauder Companies, working across brands and regions to identify and execute new product and marketing platforms. Matt has also led innovation strategy, new product creation and development for prestige brands Lab Series Skincare for Men, Aramis and Estee Lauder, as well as founder-led brands Tom Ford Beauty, Donna Karan, Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger. Prior, he worked at The Limited Brands’ Gryphon Development in product and fragrance development for Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret Beauty and Abercrombie & Fitch. Presently, Matt partners with entrepreneurs, startups and growing businesses to build and develop new products and brands people love.
Elisabeth Azoulay is a renowned anthropologist based in Paris, France. She is the author of the iconic publication 100,000 Years of Beauty (co-published with Gallimard in 2009), which details the history of beauty practices from ancient times to present day, as well as future projections. Ms. Azoulay is a globally celebrated expert in the field of beauty from a historical, cultural, and ethical perspective. A graduate from the École Normale Supérieure, she has given lectures at esteemed universities internationally, including the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Sciences Po in New York. She is also the founder of Babylone, a consulting practice she created in 1992, which assists leading beauty companies with international cultural projects.
Andrew Hessel is the CEO of Human Genomics Inc., a seed-stage company developing virus-based therapies for cancer, starting with dogs. He is a co-founder of the Genome Project-write, the international scientific effort working to engineer large genomes, including the human genome. From 2012-2017 Andrew was the Distinguished Researcher at Autodesk Life Sciences. He has been Singularity University faculty since 2009. His goal is to help people better understand and use living systems to meet the needs of society.

J. Tuyet Nguyen is a world-renowned journalist. He was previously President of the United Nations Correspondents Association at the UN headquarters in New York. Mr. Nguyen chairs the annual UNCA Awards, which recognizes journalists around the world who excelled in their reporting on the United Nations and its specialized agencies. He also served as Bureau Chief of United Press International (UPI) office at the UN headquarters before joining the German press agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) International. His work has appeared in leading publications around the globe.
Marek Bartelik is a world-renowned art critic, journalist and lecturer. After moving from Poland to Paris in 1981 he studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and went on to complete a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Columbia University followed by a PhD in Art History from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. During his career as an art critic he has been the President of AICA-USA from 2008 to 2012 and he now works as the 15th President of the International Association of Art Critics. He is a celebrated lecturer at some of the most prestigious institutions in the world, including but not limited to the MoMA in New York City, the Boston Museum of Art and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His publications are extensive and include numerous articles for the CAA Art Journal and Artforum. In addition to this he has published his own works including Early Polish Modern Art: Unity in Multiplicity by the Manchester University Press, for which he received PIASA’s 2007 Waclaw Lednicki Humanities Award.
Robin Raskin has been a celebrated technology expert, spokesperson and journalist for over 30 years. During her prestigious career she has provided important observations regarding life with technology, including raising children in a digitalised world and how technology can be a tool of empowerment when mastered by women in the workplace. Robin’s insights have been featured in several prestigious technology publications as well as in multiple television appearances, including CBS This Morning and Fox TV. In 1995 Raskin became Editor in Chief of Family PC Magazine, a collaboration between the Disney Publishing Company and Ziff Davis Corporation, where she had a key role in the development of the concept of technology being tested by real families to get their insights and eventual approval. Under her leadership, Family PC Magazine flourished both in readers and recognition, and in 1999 Raskin was awarded the title of Best Columnist by the Computer Press Association.
Olivier Guillemin started out in the fashion world, beginning his training in Fashion Design at the Studio Berçot in 1979, where he developed a futuristic personal style that would later gain him international recognition and prestige. He went on to assist legendary designers such as Thierry Mugler and Azzedine Alaïa, as well as being the first to win the ANDAM fashion award in 1989. Having acquired an extensive knowledge of the beauty sector during his years in the fashion industry, Guillemin became the Creative Director and color expert for Shiseido before teaming up with past colleague and architect Olivier Védrine to found their own company [o,o] in 2001. [o,o] set out to shake up the rules of luxury and has had a considerable impact on the industry through colorful collaborations with international brands including Dior and Acqua di Parma. Guillemin is a world-renowned authority in color and has been working as International Trend Expert for Pantone View and General Secretary for Intercolor for several years.
Coming from a vast training in the Art and Fashion Industry, Lukrecija is the Image Bank Assistant Editor for BEAUTYSTREAMS. Passionate about imagery she is bringing the newest trends and most evocative visuals to inspire and help fulfill clients product development ideas.

Devorah is the Trade Show Editor and contributing writer for BEAUTYSTREAMS, based in Paris, France. An experienced journalist who has covered Paris fashion week events and major trade shows for Women’s Wear Daily [WWD] since 2012, as well as reporting on cultural and other news for publications such as the Los Angeles Times, The Daily Telegraph, and The International New York Times, for over a decade, Devorah also researches demographic trends for consumer reports, while assisting the BEAUTYSTREAMS team with editing across all sectors. Lastly, this native San Franciscan has personal experience in the effectiveness of alternative medicine, the latest in immunity boosting methods and treatments, plus holistic lifestyle choices for feeling and looking one’s best, which she continues to learn about since diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2018, and recovering a year and a half later.
One of her favorite mantra’s is, “Seize the day.”
Stella has a degree in Fashion Design and has been working in the area since 2015. She worked as a designer until in 2018, after a season of studies in Parsons Art and Design School in NYC, she migrated to the Trend Forecasting area, working at Riachuelo (one of Brazil’s largest fashion companies). In 2020 she joined the BEAUTYSTREAMS team, as the Content and Research Assistant. Her great interest in beauty allows her to contribute with insights, mainly from the Brazilian market (since she is based in São Paulo, Brazil).
Bethan Cole is an award-winning journalist and self-published author of three books. During a career spanning close to twenty seven years, Bethan has worked in-house for British Vogue and The Sunday Times in addition to being a contributing writer for Financial Times How To Spend It, Elle US, Glamour, i-D and Vogue Japan to name a few. She is currently writing her fourth book – a memoir of her 1970s childhood. In her spare time she loves baking, dog walking, reading and watching world and arthouse cinema. She is also a huge fan of cats! – this last bit was directly from Bethan so not sure if you want to include!
Beauty Mantra: Sleep plus lots of water plus SPF. But beauty for me is really about what’s inside, not out, so thinking positive thoughts and being kind are the truly beautiful attributes.

His experience in sales, marketing and operations steer the growth of BEAUTYSTREAMS business in the region. Abin works closely with the international team to develop new sales strategies.

Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with an international background in fashion and in International Diplomatic Protocol & Etiquette, she has been working as a private consultant for Companies, Government Officials, International Organizations and Individuals. Helping them develop strategics on modern diplomacy, on public image, communication and organizing multicultural events.
With 4 languages and a specialization on marketing, she is now working as Sales Marketing Manager at BeautyStreams, the Beauty Forecast Company, for the region of LATAM.
In one specialization and another, the goal is helping the other to reach their goals working from the back.
